The one-day Everest base camp package has two variations, one that includes a helicopter ride to the base camp and the other one being the mountain flight from Kathmandu.

The helicopter-based tour will include a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Everest Base camp. However, the mountain flight package of Everest base camp is a bit different. It is an hour-long morning flight from Kathmandu. It allows you to see the mountain peaks through the sky. The flight will start early in the morning and finish within 50 mins to an hour.

PHASE ONE - Boarding the helicopter in Kathmandu for Lukla 
Lukla’s altitude: 2860 meters

The first and foremost part of the itinerary will require you to reach the TIA airport to board the helicopter. The helicopter will take off, allowing you to see majestic views of the Himalayas. The Lukla airport’s runway might scare you due to its narrow path. But once you land, the view from the sky will make everything worth it.

The flight will allow you to see glimpses of the Himalayan settlement from the sky, which will be immaculate. The glimpses of the area from the helicopter will be something to remember. 

The helicopter tour aims to show you spectacular views of the mountain range. This will take about 35 minutes to complete the journey.

PHASE TWO - Lukla to Kala Patthar
Kala Patthar’s altitude: 5644 meters

After landing at Lukla, you will board the helicopter again to leave for the Kala Patthar viewpoint. Kala Patthar is considered the best region for getting glimpses of Everest. The up close and stunning views of Everest you get from the Kala Patthar's viewpoint are unmatched.

After Kala Patthar sightseeing, you will arrive at the Everest View Hotel. The Everest View Hotel is also a viewpoint on its own. Everest's food and immaculate views are out of the world from here. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful views of the Everest region from all sides.

The hotel holds the record for hotel placed at the highest altitude. This fact only will make up for quite an impressive experience. You will have your meal in the hotel enjoying the sight. This marks the third phase of the trip. 

PHASE FOUR - Everest View Hotel to Lukla
Lukla’s altitude: 2860 meters

After your hotel meal, you will board the helicopter again to return to Lukla. You can still enjoy views of the Himalayas on the way back. Every flight will give you a very worthy experience. These immaculate views from the sky will be forever entrenched in your brain.

After taking 15 minutes of flight, we will land at Lukla for the refueling.

PHASE FIVE: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Essential Information

The other deal in our package involves a morning flight tour of the Everest base camp. This will be shorter than the helicopter-based tour and quite unique. There will not be a chronological itinerary as the tour will just be a short one hour.

Unlike the helicopter tour, the morning flight tour will be through an airplane. Due to this reason, the tour will not have any stops except at the Tribhuvan International airport. The tour flight is available only in the morning, so you need to wake up early to board this. 

The tour involves taking off from the Tribhuvan International airport. It will take off towards the Himalayas. The airplane will take an hour's worth of hovering around the mountain range. The flight will allow you to see the marvelous Himalayan range.

You will be able to see settlement areas of Namche through the flight as well. You will get spectacular views of the Everest Range and the Everest base camp region through the sky. You will also see views of  Gourishankar, Cho-Oyu, Lhakpa Dorje, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, and many more peaks.
