How to get in to Tibet
There are two ways to get in to Tibet. One and famous route is via Nepal and another way is via Mainland China. Procedures of your Tibet travel permit from these routes are different.

How to get in to Tibet

Get in to Tibet from Nepal
Due to closeness and convenient, Nepal is becoming main entry point of getting in to Tibet from the beginning time. Overland entry via Kodari boarder is the main point to enter as Tibet overland tour. Due to huge landslide after earthquake 2015 in Nepal, Tibet permit via this route is still not starting to issue. Only one option now a day is to get flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. Air China and Sichuan Airlines are operating their flights every day. Kathmandu-Lhasa flight brings you spectacular view of Nepalese Himalayan ranges including Mount Everest and other snow cap Mountains.
Get in to Tibet from mainland China
The cheapest way to get Tibet from China is by train. The main cities of China like Chengdu, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xian and Xining is connecting with railway to Tibet. You can book your railway ticket via online or contact travel agencies. Another way of getting Tibet from China is with flight. Main cities if China likes Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Xining and Guangzhou are connecting with direct flight Lhasa.
Important Note: Chinese government can add or remove rules to define how to enter Tibet. It could be immediate rules and not possible to get those information an advance. There won’t be any other way than following their rules.
