Kham Valley Trek is eastern part of Tibet, It is quite famous due to natural land escape and saint road but is has been hidden part of Tibet.

The Kham Valley Trekking in Tibet is less developed in terms of tourism as compared to many other places in Tibet so its untouched heritage is intact in the valley. The Kham Valley Trek consists of ranges of exotic treks with gorgeous rippling rivers, lush green valleys, Tibetan villages and rough terrains. Kham valley is also known as ‘the lost Tibet’ since it has not been traversed frequently by travelers which explains its preserved nature and landscape.

The valleys Kham Valley is comprised of many pictorial scenes, vivid meadows, breathtaking gorges lined with ancient monasteries. The “Saint Road” is another highlight of this trek as it is an ancient secret road thickened by history. The best weather conditions for doing the Kham Trek is in spring during ( April to June) or autumn from ( September to up until mid November ) to enjoy a better view of the mountain tops. The maximum incline one will reach is around 5000 meters meaning proper adjustment is mandatory otherwise it can be really strenuous. You are required to have two permits, the Tibet Travel Permit and an Alien Travel Permit which allows mounted troops to travel across the designated borders arranged by specified proven travel agencies. Attaining both of the permits will allow you to embark on a new adventure, an adventure that is deeply rooted into Tibetan culture.

You should take the full advantage of today’s free time. It’s the best time to enjoy the famous local Sichuan Cuisine and the spectacular and unique local arts performance and Sichuan Opera “face changing” and “spitting fire”.

 By 4 wheel drive land-cruiser, we start early in the morning for Ya'an, Luding and Kangding. Kangding is a medium-sized Tibetan town in Sichuan where we spend our first night

Today's trip covers the attractions of Ngachu Gonpa Monastery, Dordrag Gonpa and Mugetso Lake. We are going to enjoy a nice picnic by the beautiful lake. By the way, You may enjoy the famous hot spring on the half way.We will drive to Xinduqiao and stay at the typical Tibetan style guesthouse here.

 Today, we drive to Luhuo via Tagong Grassland.The attractions will be Tagong Monastery.

Today's trip takes about 8 hours. We will drive through Ganzi and stay at Dege. Besides the beautiful lanscape, Dege printing house is  very highlight today !

Today, we will cross the boarder of Sichuan and Tibet, passing through Jiangda, Tuoba and arrive in Chamdo before dinner.  Today's attraction includes Peipung Chokhorling Monastery, Mt.Quer.

Today's itinerary is not tough, you will enjoy the Kalden Jampaling Monastery in Chamdo.Saty at  hotel tonight.

Passing through Lake Ngan Tso, today's attraction is Bangda Grassland and have a view of the longest airport on the world Bangda airport in Chamdo. Arrive Basu. Overnight here.

 From Basu, you will experience the road in zigzags among the mountainous area. Have the best view of the virgin forest on the way. Arrive Bomi.before dinner.\

From Bomi, you will enjoy the towns of Tongmai,Dongjiu, Ningtri and overnight in the beautiful town --- Bayi the Capital of Ningtri Prefecture Attractions will be Great Cypress Park which is the holy tree in the Bon religion.

 From Bayi, we will go to Langxian and overnight at Langxian.

 From Langxian, we will go to Tzedang, the Capital of Shannan Prefecture .We will visit Yongbulakhang Monastery, Tomb of Tibetan King and Lubu temple.
