Ganden Monastery is one of the biggest Gelug sect monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in 15th century it’s 1409 as per the Tibetan Calendar by Tsongkhapa Lozang, the great monk from India. Ganden Monastery is 60 Kilometres Northeast part of Lhasa city an elevation of 3,800 meters above sea level.  Ganden Monastery contained more the two dzozen of major Chapels with big Buddha statues. There are many monks can seat and chanting together in the large Chapel. It is worth to visit Ganden Monastery for photography, Buddhist pilgrimage and holiday tour in Tibet.
